Crop Insurance

We understand that each farming operation has specific and unique needs.  We are trained to provide information regarding crop insurance and overall risk management assessments.

What does crop insurance cover?

  • Multi-Peril
    • Subsidized – 50%-85% Coverage Levels
    • Revenue Protection
    • Yield Protection
  • Crop Hail
    • Hail
    • Harvested Gran
    • Vandalism
    • Fire, Lightning, Transit

Other coverages available:

  • Dairy Revenue Protection – (Dairy RP) is an area-based revenue product designed to insure against unexpected declines in the quarterly revenue from milk sales.

The expected revenue is based on futures for milk and dairy commodities and the amount of covered milk production elected by the producer.  Each policy is based upon the state or pooled production region dependent upon the location of the producer.

  • Pasture, Rangeland, and Forage – (PRF) is an area-based policy that protects perennial pastures, rangeland or forage used for feed.  It provides a risk management tool to cover the precipitation needed to produce forage for our operation.
  • Annual Forage - Annual Forage is a Rainfall Index insurance policy that provides coverage on any annually planted crop used for forage.  This program protects against a single peril, lack of precipitation.
